One Cross – 3 Options

From 1 Corinthians 1:23-24, we read that the preaching of the Cross is to the Jews a stumbling block (skandalos in the Greek, as He failed to defeat the Romans and usher in their kingdom) and to the Greeks foolishness (moria, or moronic in the Greek, does not make sense). This same Cross, to those who are being saved, has this extraordinary result: the stumbling block becomes powerful (dunamis or dynamic) the foolishness becomes wisdom (sophia). Because, according to Paul in verse 25, “the foolishness of God is wiser than men and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”
